Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon butter softened
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon egg whisked, see notes
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoon oats old fashioned
  • 6 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • pinch salt
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, M&M's assorted

Instructions

  • In a small bowl beat the butter and peanut butter until fluffy and then add in both sugars and whip.
  • Add in the vanilla extract and whisked egg and mix until just combined.
  • Combine the dry ingredients and mix into the wet batter. When the dry ingredients are almost incorporated mix in the add-ins.
  • Roll and divide the cookie dough into two balls if desired. If you want a thicker cookie then leave the cookie dough round, if you want a thinner cookie then just slightly flatten the cookie before baking.
  • Bake the cookies at 375F for 12 -13 minutes for two cookies and 14 - 16 minutes for one cookie. The cookie should be golden brown on the sides and just slightly golden brown on the top.
  • Allow the cookie to cool for 5 minutes before consuming.

Notes

Whisked egg: Whisk a large egg until evenly mixed and measure one tablespoon.
