Line a 8x8in square pan with parchment paper and set aside until needed.
With a heat proof bowl, add the butter, white chocolate and oil and melt in microwave until fully melted melting in 30 second increments making sure not to burn the white chocolate. let is sit to the side until just warm.
Once the white chocolate mixture is slightly warm add the sugar and eggs.
Sift dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking powder, and matcha) over the wet ingredients and just fold in until there are no more dry clumps.
Fold in the white chocolate chunks or variations and then pour the matcha brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.
Bake matcha brownies in middle rack of the oven for 25 minutes.
Once brownies are done baking allow it to fully cool before enjoying.
Matcha Ganache (Optional):
In a heatproof bowl add in your heavy cream and white chocolate. Melt in 30 second increments until the melted white chocolate is smooth.
Sift the matcha in and mix until smooth and then pour over the matcha brownies.
